Beili Measure for iOS processes measurements on your device. No account is required. The app does not use advertising, cloud sync or developer analytics services.
Camera
Camera permission is requested when you start a distance or height measurement. The camera is used only for framing; video is not automatically saved, recorded or uploaded. Denying permission affects distance and height measurement; other tools remain available.
Microphone
Microphone permission is requested when you start Sound Trend. Live audio is converted in memory into relative levels and statistics. The app does not save recordings, recognize speech or upload audio. Capture stops when you leave the page, stop measuring or put the app in the background. Denying permission affects only Sound Trend.
Location While Using the App and Precise Location
Location permission is requested when you choose to get altitude. Precise Location is needed to obtain altitude and vertical accuracy. Results include latitude, longitude, altitude, accuracy and time. If you save a result, this information is stored with the record on your device and is not uploaded to a developer server. Location updates stop when you leave the page or put the app in the background. The app does not track background location. Denying permission or allowing only approximate location prevents this tool from completing a measurement.
Photos and Sensors
The system photo picker provides access only to the images you select, not your entire library. Choosing Save Image requests add-only photo permission to save the current measurement image. If you deny it, records and system sharing remain available. Annotated images are generated for photo measurements and protractor results and are stored locally only if you save the record. Device gravity and motion data are used only for distance, height and level measurements.
Records, Sharing and Deletion
Titles, notes, readings, sample information and annotated images are stored only on your device. When you choose to share, the system share sheet sends the result to the destination app you select. Exported images include the current result, title, notes and annotations. Check your sharing destination before continuing.
You can revoke camera, microphone or location access in system Settings. Revoking permission does not delete past records. Delete individual records or clear local data in this app's Settings. Exported images must be deleted separately from wherever you saved them.
