How do I change the language?
Open Settings > Language in the app. Choose System Default, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese or English.
How do I enable camera access?
Use Open Permission Settings on the Distance or Height screen, or find this app in iPhone Settings and allow camera access.
How do distance and height estimates work?
Enter the lens height above the ground and aim at a base point level with the ground beneath you. For height, lock the base, keep the lens in place and aim at the top. Horizontal distance estimates cover 0.5–5 m; height estimates are limited to 5 m.
Why must I calibrate the ruler?
Physical screen sizes vary. Align the calibration line with a physical ruler so it measures 5 cm, then save. Drag the yellow line when measuring.
Which angle does the protractor measure?
It measures ∠AOB, with O as the vertex. Place O at the corner and A and B along its sides. The angle updates automatically.
How does Photo Measure work?
Choose a photo and enter a known reference length. Align blue line 1–2 with the reference and yellow line 3–4 with the target. Both must share a plane; avoid perspective distortion.
Why are Sound Trend readings negative?
Sound Trend shows relative digital levels in dBFS. Negative values are normal; closer to zero means louder. It does not measure environmental sound pressure levels, require SPL calibration or save audio recordings.
Why is altitude unavailable?
Allow location while using the app, enable Precise Location and try outdoors. Consider the reported vertical accuracy. This feature does not use a barometer.
Where are my records and how do I delete them?
Records are stored on your device. Delete individual records or clear local data in app Settings. Export important results before uninstalling. Exported images must be deleted separately from their saved location.
Can I use these results for engineering or safety checks?
The app is for everyday reference and does not replace professional surveying, engineering or safety instruments.
